	It may be necessary for the technologically minded and achievement
minded part of the American population to secede in order to escape the
consequences of anti-technology, equalitarianism,
bureaucracy, and socialism.  The battle
is not yet lost, but the probability of losing is large enough so that the
option of escape is worth some thought.
